Audio-Technica ATH-M40x Black Friday 2022 & Cyber Monday Deals – New from Audio-Technica’s Studio headset, the ATH M40X over-ear headphones are brand new and improved version of the popular headphones for monitors. We’ve done a brief review and have provided some of our favorite and least liked of ours.
As we’ve noted in our best Audio-Technica Headphones article The 40x dominated the cake with the 50x (because they’re $50 cheaper and use almost the same technology). We believe that these are the reasons why the Beats by Dre headset string appear expensive and over-hyped. Let’s take a look.
The headphones are flatly tuned, allowing for an extremely accurate view over a wider frequency range. They are perfect for use in studios since they provide a better experience thanks to more isolation of the sound. Swiveling ear cups allow for one-ear monitoring and permit an easier travel arrangement. They were created using professional-grade materials and have been constructed using sturdy construction methods like the majority of studio headphones that are available. They aren’t inexpensively produced cans -The construction of these headphones is impressive.
The M40x headphones will be a huge help for DJ monitoring professional sound mixing as well as studio tracks, as suggested by Audio-Technica However we would recommend using them in any setting that is possible. Personally, I own two pairs of them — an M40x that I use for my personal gym and travel use (I saw a woman who asked me what they were listening to on the bus last week!) A pair of these M50x to use in my home gym.
